Research Symposium

Mutare Teachers College research symposium committee spearheads annual national research conferences for the college. The team is responsible for organizing, sourcing funds, providing support to researchers and innovators nationally and internationally. This brings together researchers from teacher training colleges, universities, polytechnics, entrepreneurs and the community at large to influence policy decisions through research. Research symposiums promote an exclusive learning and sharing environment away from the classroom. The main thrust is building knowledge and producing research excellence in innovation and industrialisation in institutions of higher learning. The symposiums encourage cultural and heritage based solutions which will contribute immensely towards the body of knowledge and societal challenges facing the country and the world at large leading to innovation and new technology. The various research projects should ultimately result in the production of goods and services to satisfy societal needs
